Here are my two new pieces. The first one makes me think about Star Wars, I don't know why. It was pretty easy to sew and I like it very much. The fabric is a very heavy and beautifull knit. The pattern is New Look 6729


The second one is a vest from Burda easy fashion winter 09 issue. I really like the shape but it was a little bit difficult to make. However I like it and I wear it often.

Thanks girls!!! I really like the skirt, it was easy to sew and very fast (and you don't need a lot of fabric to make it), the dress was a little bit difficult to do, but I don't regret the time I spent on it.

I'm not really fond of the new today tendencies of french fashion, so I decided to make the contrary:
the first dress is from BWOF october's issue. Iwould make a very casual version but it turned like an old version of the Dior dress in the fifties. The fabric is a thin natural wool a little bit see through (is it the right word?) so I had to sew a lining.

In the second pictures the marks hasn't been off yet.

The second garment is a pencil skirt of the 2008 Burda Easy fashion winter issue. I also made the removable bow and I think it's very stylish.

The truth is that I was too tired to change the thread on my serger (by the way, I'm in love with my new serger).

First I made this skirt with a remant of jersey. The pattern is from Burda (june 07) and it's really easy to sew and very comfy.


The second is from a Lutterloh book of the seventies and I really like this method, the result is very good. Here is the front:

The last but not least, is from an old Patrones. The pattern is an Anna Molinari (italian haute-couture) and I really love the result. It was difficult to do but it worth it.
