Oh, love these! My mom and aunt used to make them when I was little except they just use paper clips to hold the cups togather, I must admit your way is a prettier method though.

Hello,
I am wanting to take road trip and explore TN (I have never been, I live in FL).  It will be a little bit I want to take a week explore then go to Bonnaroo 2009(thats in June), so I was wondering if anyone can give me some neat places to go both big and mom-and-pop.  I would like to see sites, visit some cool local spots, thrift and craft stores, etc you know roadtrip/vacation stuff.  If y'all could give me some ideas I'd love ya forever Grin. Places that I must go (if it helps) Memphis, Nashville, Bristol, Lafayette and of course Manchester. Any other places would be welcomed though.  Thanks in advance, hope this makes sense.

Thanks all!  The flowers are embroydered(the first time I've done it on a sewing machine instead of by hand).  I just got back from visiting family and friends up north and my best bud has requested that I make her one too because she loved mine so much.

So my friend redid her house recently and when she did she gave me all of her old curtains, one of the sets was a canvasey fabric, I wanted to make it a bag but couldn't decide what type until the other day when I was looking through a magazine.  I saw a bag that I liked the look of except for the fact that it was far too small(I'm like Marry Poppins with my purse), and I'm having a zipper shortage since I haven't been able to get to the thrift store I buy them at($0.25, way better than Wal-Mart), so I took the flower idea and kind of tweeked it to be more me and this is what I got:

And a close up of a flower:

I like my bags to hang low heres kind of an idea of were it hangs:

That is so cool!  I wish Lecanto(that should sound familiar) had that, I just graduated or I would totally look into starting one.
