1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Battlestar Galactica Six dress on: April 14, 2012 04:41:44 PM
I second the back comment. It's really stunning!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Men's Jeans (Sims 2 Style) on: August 12, 2011 02:10:15 PM
I love those pants! That's exactly the style that I prefer to wear. I really dig the choice of fabric to line the pockets with. Makes the pants extra special.
3  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: Etsy vs Artfire? on: December 05, 2010 02:10:06 PM
While I have yet to sell anything on either site, I am getting so much more attention on Etsy than I was on ArtFire. If you were to ask my friends, they would say that Ebay is even better than Etsy. I have yet to try so can't vouch for that personally.
4  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Re: my first ever latex piece! on: August 16, 2010 05:44:11 AM
Congrats to you! I'm too intimidated to give latex a shot. The skirt looks fab.

I have been wanting to play with poi for so long.. tutorial, yes please!
6  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Body Jewelry? on: July 10, 2010 11:07:07 AM
I don't mean pretty dangling earrings either. I have small boxes full of CBRs (rings with a ball closure), bars, pinchers, and tapers ranging from tiny to huge. I hate looking at my dresser and seeing all the dust that has accumulated on them. What could I possibly do with them?

I dabble a bit in everything but my areas of expertise is in sewing and synthetic hair pieces. Years ago I had a stuffed animal that I 'pierced' with a couple bars, but that's it. Any thoughts? I'm open to all ideas!
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Making bras for itty bitty *ahem* chests on: May 31, 2010 03:34:11 PM
Oh, I feel your pain. I haven't actually taken the leap into sewing my own bras but I have been drafting the patterns. My thought is to take a bra pattern or swimsuit pattern from, say, Simplicity or Burda or what-have you, and subtract the dart or make a very shallow dart.
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Wanting to make phat/rave pants....help on: May 31, 2010 03:26:54 PM
Years upon years ago, Simplicity had a pattern to make a pair. It's been long since discontinued but I'm frequently looking on Ebay for it. Just a thought!
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: From Pants to Skirt. on: December 10, 2009 05:46:02 PM
Thanks for the tip! I did what you suggested and commented on that thread.

I can't take any credit for the ribbon and lace design on the legwarmers. I actually purchased the pants like that. It's a great idea and would be pretty simply to do though!
10  CLOTHING / Clothing Sewalongs / Re: Funky shorts/pants combo...Who'd like to show me what you've got? on: December 10, 2009 05:43:23 PM
Not shorts, but I just made a skirt and legwarmers from a pair of pants. Here's a link with pictures if it interests anyone-

The legwarmers are so easy to do. All you need is a length of elastic and a bit of patience.
