11 Jimi Hendrix in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by chelsiesawks on: March 15, 2009 06:21:15 PM
I had bought some new canvas and have been wanting to do a painting for my fiance. After looking through some records today I came across Jimi! Once I looked at the cover I knew I had to paint it. My man loves Jimi Hendrix so I figured it was a great idea!

I hope he likes it!
I have no previous experience with calligraphy, I just winged it, so any advice is welcomed!
The picture is dark but I couldn't use the flash.

14 Anatomical Heart for Valentine's Day in Felting: Completed Projects by chelsiesawks on: February 14, 2009 10:36:58 PM
So my fiance and I haven't celebrated Valentine's Day yet, so while shopping in the craft section of Wal Mart I see FELT!
And I came up with a spur of the moment project, an anatomical heart for Valentine's Day!!
YAY
It's sooo kick ass!

Sorry about the dark pictures. I was drunk when I took them.
Let me know what you think.
And if you can't read it, the back says
" I love you with all of my heart!"
P.S. there is red embroidery too but you can't see it in the pictures!

15 a pistol and a corset in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by chelsiesawks on: January 09, 2009 07:24:34 PM
While glued to the computer today, I decided to make some gory art with a "Sherri Moon" type girl.... I did it on paint, and was impressed that it came out not so bad!
The results are as follows..

Which one do you like better?
And for the record, I named her Betty... I'm not quite sure if it fits her though.
It came out a little blurry in the pictures you can see...
She has some tattoos and her nose and eyebrow pierced.

16 Wedding Cake in Dessert by chelsiesawks on: December 11, 2008 07:44:52 PM
So this summer I helped make the wedding cake for my fiance's brother's wedding.
It was a huge task to take on but I think it came out well; although not something I think I'd like to do again in the near future.
My fiance basicly did all of the baking and icing (the hard work!) and I mostly decorated it. I rolled every single pearl and painted it with pearl dust, talk about tedious and redundant!!!! Anyways, finally I have atleast one picture. If I get more pictures I will post.

17 Re: Post Photos of Your Tattoos! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by chelsiesawks on: November 14, 2008 05:37:23 PM
Here's the sketch I took in..

And they basicly just sized it down and added a couple things...
Here's the final product!

It was my first tattoo and I absolutely love it!
It's a memorial tattoo for my dad, he really loved elephants and so do I, so it was sort a way to remember him by and something I shared with him.
