And here she is with my second one.. a commissioned piece for our dear family friends...

these were taken in progress, I sent her off before I took pictures of the finished doll... I painted one of the flowers around her eye magenta & her boots to match.

Here's my first day of the dead doll, she's made of canvas, lightly wired, painted w/acrylics... poppies are made from an old wool blazer. she's posable & has held up against the hands of a 5 year old & 9 year old! She's hanging out w/monster high dolls..

Thank you!
I'm not entirely happy with him, he *may* still be in progress. I was trying to recreate him from memory & google image searches but we got the movie in from netflix last night and I couldn't help but feel a little critical of him after seeing him from all angles. I think this is where I need to remember that if I want him to be more accurate, i should make a new one! He's fine, as is... and my little girls LOVE him! That's what most of my work is for these days, smiles from little girls Cheesy

He's painted canvas w/button jointed wings and floss wrapped wire feet.

And here are a few owlets I made, inspired by Etsy seller cartbeforethehorse , a new, overweight cashmere Chibi snuck in there

It's so cute & looks super warm.
But, I'd be kinda leery to make it an infinity scarf unless it had a release- it seems like a strangulation hazard.
I admit I may just be a nervous mama, I'm always picturing the worst case scenario. I've been deemed the "doomsayer" before.  Sad

He was completely destroyed by my dog, ripped to pieces & spread all over the yard... can't even get the little bits of leaves out of all of the lovely fibers.
