1  Card protector in Completed Projects by fresh on: September 20, 2008 01:31:02 PM
I made this card protector for a poker player:

It is about 4 cm (1,6 inches) across, and is made with a glas orb placed on a bottle cap as a base. To give it proper weight and stability.
I wrapped the orb and the cap in plaster bandages, and later on sculptured the face with paper clay. The teeth and the eyes are made with polymer clay though.

It seems to be working out as a card protector, since the poker player wants two more of them.  Smiley

2  Toothbrush holders in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by fresh on: January 11, 2008 04:50:09 PM
My boyfriend moved to a new apartment a month ago, and was disturbed by the holes the previous tenant had made in the tiles in the bathroom.
I started thinking of a way to use them, the holes, and figured that the spare clay I had could be just enough to make two toothbrush holders.
And it was!
