i dont know of any favorite tools. all i own is some basic transfer pens, thread, needles and a few hoops.

I am hoping more people post some nifty items. I would really like to see them.

Anyone have good tips for keeping the fabric nice and clean when handling it so much? i was thinking of buying a really tight fitting white glove (like the ones people put on in the movies and wipe thier finger across a mantle to see if it was dusted)  I have been working on a large peice for my BF mother and I see it getting a bit....dingy.
15  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Re: Color help? on: December 03, 2008 11:42:47 AM
i immediately thought 'Dandelion" - you know like a dark yellow color - almost has a brownish hint to it.  - not a goldish yellow.
16  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: I need new ideas!--please post your homemade ornaments on: November 11, 2008 11:55:52 AM

First take you styrofoam ball and use a pencil or awl or screwdriver to poke a hole all the way through trying to stay as centered as possible.

Second insert your pipe cleaner leaving about an inch or two sticking out of the bottom. Thread that through the the styrofoam to secure it (not through the hole you made but beside it, actually stick it through the foam)

What is the purpose of the first hole you made?  I am just wondering because these are beautiful and i would like to make some for my family this year.

haha thanks. thanks for sharing. i really do appreciate it. heck i might never even get to make them. i told my bf about them and he was all concerned about the resin being in my ears. (like if they should be sealed or something)

have you ever had any problems?

i love the plugs i hate to spend the money on them also.

what did you use as a mold? did you make one possibly out of clay.
