oh man! I would love to do this, but I have too much going on and would not be able to get it done by the end of the month.

Okay! Postcard swap.... I hope people like homemade ones featuring some of my prettier photos?Huh....

I would be interested to get one of yours and I don't even know what they would look like. But I enjoy photography so that would be nice. How do you make them, if I may ask?

Please don't think I'm a photographer! But if I had to send another shit-boring shot of Melbourne's skyline taken by Steve Parrish I will go completely crazy. I like my photos better than the bland-yet-professional ones that are available in shops.

They're nothing special at all. I take photos of stuff... usually boring stuff with boring angles and what not. If I'm lucky, they're in focus. Every now and then, I get something that looks a bit more exciting. I like to muck around with colour levels, and I get stuff that looks fun... lately I've been trying to make my photos look like those oversaturated things from the 70s.

Then it's easy - I print onto gloss photo paper, glue to card, glue card to plain paper, and cut out. Voila - a postcard-like object. Though I might see if I can get a wee bit more exciting than that.

I don't know if we would get paired up or not (I'm swapping one home made and three store bought) but I would still be interested! I like to take random pictures as well, interesting shapes usually inspire me more than anything! So my pictures aren't what you would normally see in a store either. I have a few that I really like though and it would be fun to make them into postcards so thanks for the how-to

Cute! Now I have this vision in my head of a modern punk red riding hood! With some kinda zip-up red hoodie embellished with chains and metal circles on straps. heh heh heh

I have some cute ladybug fabric! I think I bought a yard and used a couple square inched (made fabric covered buttons). and now I don't know what to do with it! It is blue flannel with ladybugs and leaves on it. Super cute but not quite my style, thats what happens when I go to Walmart in the middle of the night I guess!

I've already found a new glue gun, sequins on a string, two organizer boxes, some iron on letters, scrapbooking stuff, buttons, zippers, yarn, glitter, I have some band shirts that could be used for recon, jersey knit fabric, all kinds of fabric actually, ribbons, paints, crayons, old sewing books, and I'm still digging.....

I'm hoping for some neat fabrics, buttons, thread, stamp carving blocks, crafty books, knitting needles (now that I learned), jewelry tools/supplies, soap making stuff, comic books (the older the better), zippers, anything with cool 1 inch sized pictures for my buttons, little toys I can put in resin or make jewelry with, and random stuff, I like surprises.......

Now I'm thinking you and I should be paired up. I have most of what you want to get and I am interested in most of what you are giving! I'm not sure about knitting needles though, my mom might have a pair she doesn't need anymore that I could share but I won't know that till later this month.

I wish I lived closer now that I'm doing swaps and I left so much of my crafting supplies with her! Its hard to remember what I have, and frustrating when I realize I should have brought more with me! But my husband and I move into a bigger place in a week or so, so I can bring back tons of stuff for my crafts! (Sorry, I tend to ramble)

I found a new secret hidden inside me and started the therapeutic crafting of it.

I am starting to worry that my cards will not seem crafty enough... I kinda figure if I'm taking more than 5 minutes to make it they should be ok, but I worry that someone that gets them might not see the effort involved. Maybe I am just being pessimistic?
