1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Clothespin Dolls on: April 26, 2009 02:19:24 PM
Here are some clothespin dolls that I made recently. I actually did 12 of them total. I actually had a good time doing them. Each one really has a personality of its own!

2  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: My quilt is ruined! What to do? on: September 12, 2008 07:57:12 AM
First, I think your quilt is absouletly gorgeous! You have done a great job with it. I would try to remove the stain before you finish quilting it. Hopefully it will come out! There are a lot of stain removers out there that should remove the stain.
3  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Western Theme? on: April 07, 2008 07:05:08 AM
I have almost finished piecing the top of a denim quilt (from old blue jeans). I am going to quilt it, but only in the middle of the squares and not on every square, that way I don't have to run over any seams. I am trying to decide what to do for the backing and the quilting design. Should I use pink on the back and quilt flowers on top, or use like a bandana fabric or other western fabric on the back and quilt hats and boots, etc. on the top. What do you think of these ideas? If you have any other ideas please let me know!
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: OW... i crocheted too much... on: March 13, 2008 08:18:47 AM
I just read somewhere that you're supposed to hold your hook like a pen. Is that true?!?
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: OW... i crocheted too much... on: March 13, 2008 07:09:21 AM
Mine do that as well! It's really aggravating and painful. And it always mangages to happen right in the middle of a project.
6  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Summer Tweed Yarn by Rowan on: March 09, 2008 04:18:08 PM
I found this awesome shrug pattern in a book from the library, but it calls for summer tweed by rowan. That yarn is about $8 a skein and I would need 8 skeins! I guess it's so expensive because it has silk in it. Anyway, does anyone have any recommendations for a cheaper alternative?
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Blocking 3d Objects on: March 06, 2008 08:38:02 AM
I am crocheting an angel that is 3d. I have made one before and had trouble blocking it. Her skirt bulged out in some spots and had divots in other spots. If you have any ideas let me know.

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: circle skirt? on: February 19, 2008 05:15:02 PM
This site tells how to make one. I made this one before.
10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: First Post with Pictures!! Fabric Flowers. on: February 19, 2008 09:40:45 AM
How big are they? Depending on the size, they would look great as a brooch! Beautiful!
