1  Dexter Anniversary Gift in Needlework: Completed Projects by crafts4others on: August 30, 2011 06:46:12 PM
This ended up being an anniversary gift to my husband, which it originally wasn't going to be one for our anniversary. However I knew it would get completed before his other gift (which will now be a birthday one). We are both fans of the show Dexter. I purchased the pattern on etsy and mostly worked on it the past few days. He enjoyed it although the next gift will be one for him to put up at his office at work. Sorry a shadow is in the picture.

this was my gift to my husband for our anniversary, it was originally going to be for another occasion. I just completed this project first. He liked it though as we are both Dexter fans.

I am going to work more on a cat teapot cross stitch item for a charity group. Soon I will start on the Mirabilia Garden Beauty cross stitch as a gift for my mothers birthday.

6  Re: Big Project stitch-along 2011 in Needlework: Stitchalongs by crafts4others on: July 15, 2011 12:03:03 PM
I am going to tag along here on a project that I need to start for my husband and I upcoming anniversary. I imported a wedding photo that we both like, however the program I used (I found this out after I printed it) has us being dark navy blue instead of black (which you can see from the photo). Should I just go ahead and change the color to black?  Once I have decided that question I hope to start work on this either later this week or next weekend. It will be my biggest cross stitch yet using a 14 count.

My guild was taking quilts to be sent to the tornado victims in Alabama and Missouri. I made this baby quilt in 30's fabric. Hopefully some baby will enjoy it.

8  Cross Stitch Bookmark for Charity in Needlework: Completed Projects by crafts4others on: June 02, 2011 02:02:43 PM
This is my first completed project for a cross stitch charity group. This will be given to a senior citizen who is in a nursing home or living assisted facility. I have been told that they really enjoy the bookmarks. So I hope that one of them enjoys this one. The next bookmark I am making is for kids for the charity, and it is a winnie the pooh themed one.

10  First Counted Cross Stitch project in Needlework: Completed Projects by crafts4others on: May 05, 2011 11:23:13 AM
I have normally done either stamped embroidery or stamped cross stitch. This is my first completed counted cross stitch project. I think it came out pretty good, although I did make a few mistakes which is only natural.  Smiley
