1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Patchwork Skirt (First attempt) on: November 16, 2011 03:28:12 PM
I love that.  I've been wanting to make some long skirts.  I might have to give this a whirl.

Thank you!  It is holding up pretty well.  I wish I would have made the bottom cover just a little tighter.  It has loosened up a little with wear.

Thank you for your comments Smiley  I bought the fabric from an etsy seller.  I'll have to look up the shop.
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / echino print chair on: November 09, 2011 04:23:14 AM
I recently acquired an old chair from my late Grandmother's house.  It had been in her basement for quite awhile and it needed a lot of work, but after some cleaning and adding some new fabric it fits right into my living room.
This echino fall 2011 print was great because the patchwork hides my poor sewing!

Those are fantastic! I've never played the game, but they would make great gifts for all the people I know who do play.  Thank you for sharing!
8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Log Cabin blanket on: March 29, 2011 02:31:55 PM
Thanks everyone Smiley  The stash is a little less giant now.  There was a time I was buying all kinds of Caron's simply soft when it was on sale.  Now I just have to stay out of the craft stores so I don't have to talk myself out of a good deal.  It is so hard to pass up yarn once it is in my hands.
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Log Cabin blanket on: March 29, 2011 04:31:08 AM
I'm still trying to use up a giant yarn stash, so I decided to make another blanket.  I didn't want to go with the typical granny square, so I decided to try a log cabin method instead.  I think it turned out alright.  I'm really happy just to be finished with it Smiley
