   sooooooooooo sorry I just read this post....but really in Rome you cannot find a only corset shop but  you can find this item at Rinascente or store named merceria which sell also threads and buttons etc.... if you  this reply tell us how was your staying in Rome sure that it was too hot

in June it is very good not too hot , July it is hot downtown and in August you'd better go to the seaside ( where I live!!!) but in the evening it often comes a sort of   very light wind called "ponentino" which helps to go all around the town not suffering hot!
(sorry for my english)

I live in Rome and I like to sew everything, clothes and crafts I can tell you best deals in buying yards.
I first go to:DIFFUSIONE TESSILE Via appia  just in front of Capannelle ippodrome easily for parking and a lots of choice  good stocks, you  surely find what you like!
an then BASSETTI al Largo Argentina you must go by bus there because it is in the center of Rome not easy by car a little bit crowded  but a large choice of yards.
