I finished this on Saturday and it is based on the pattern here.  I changed it and added some more colors to the wings so it would look more like a ruby macaw.  I also stuffed the tail and made it scrunch up to look more ample.  I made the feet, but they didn't look good on my bird, so now I have a bunch of cat toys that I call yellow yarn sausages Tongue  I am really proud of it and I can't stop playing with it.

That is so awesome! I've seen these a lot and I have always wanted to make one, but I never do for some reason.  Anyways, you did a super good job, I especially love the first page.

i want to make this toilet paper roll here, but it is done in stockinette stitch, which always curls pretty bad for me. Is there anything I can do or change to make a none curling version of it?
