2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Broomstick Lace Hat/Scarf (I got published!!) on: September 30, 2008 08:57:40 AM
Awesome!

So, um, I'm about to learn to crochet (actually have a book, yarn, and hook in my bag - meeting my grad school's fiber arts group for lunch Grin), and I'm wondering - how hard is this project? I'm not thinking for my first, obviously, but I've been needing a hooded scarf for a while, so knowing this was somewhere on the horizon would be neat.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Kitty hat from 1 continuous piece of fabric --- TUTE Added! on: September 30, 2008 08:39:37 AM
Now I know exactly what to make my friend who loves her kitty hat for Christmas - another kitty hat XD!

As for measuring width, I think the way I'd do it would be to get another fleece hat that fits and measure the width of that one, but that's the handwavey version.
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: 7 tasty Halloween recons!! Tuxedo hoodies, horror shirts, and spooky goodness! on: September 30, 2008 08:26:02 AM
So, normally I really dislike tuxedo t-shirts, but I think that hoodie is brilliant - I mean, it's a hoodie that looks like a t-shirt that looks like a tuxedo. It makes my brain hurt. What's not to love?
5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: The one and only Spider-Man sock monkey!!!!! on: September 24, 2008 07:31:36 PM
I'm a diehard Spider-Man fan who's really sad the comics I love (they're really badly written right now, it's kind of pathetic), but the fans and the folks who craft for them make things better. *sniffs, hugs*

But seriously, this is so well done. I don't even like sock monkeys normally and I still adore this. He's so cuddly and yet ready for action! And your attention to detail really makes it work.
