1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Amy Butler Tea Tins on: July 28, 2008 10:59:01 PM
So, I am addicted to this store called Teavana, which sells the BEST herbal teas on the face of the earth!  They sell tea storage tins and the other day I saw that they're now selling decorative tins on their website, instead of their plain ol' Teavana boring ones.  They're selling theirs for $14 and I'm not paying that much for a tin!  Well, while I was cleaning out the pantry today, I found a tin from some cheap tea I bought awhile back and DING! a lightbulb went off in my head.  Using some Amy Butler paper, Mod Podge, and lace, I made my pretty little creations.  (One of them is a tin and the other is plastic.) They're pretty simple, but I'm really happy with them!

First tin..

Tin with yummy Peach Oolong inside!

Second tin (well, not tin-plastic. It's an old Crystal Lite container)

2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / More Pages on: July 26, 2008 08:37:20 PM
As I was uploading pictures for my last post, I found pages that I made for my mother and MIL that I meant to post but never did! I thought I'd share...

My absolute favorite picture of my mother when she was a child in Germany.  Ironic that she's standing in front of a motorcycle and now she's a tattoo artist that rides bikes...

The first page of my mother-in-law's scrapbook.

Thanks for looking!
3  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / A Few New Pages on: July 26, 2008 08:12:56 PM
So, my best friend Amy came to visit me in March and I planned on making her a scrapbook for Christmas to remind her of her fun trip to sunny San Diego.  Well...now Amy has decided to be the amazingly awesome friend friend that she is and come out again to keep me company while my hubby is deployed.  She will be here in two weeks and I've been in scrapbooking mode so I can get it finished before she arrives so I can surprise her.  I hope I can get it done!!! (I'm sure if I wasn't so addicted to this site, I might get more accomplished  Wink)  Anywho, please comment and critique away!

Closeup of the quilling..it looks kinda wet and gluey, but that's because I couldn't wait to take the pictures!

UPDATED:I forgot this one!

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / What Better to do While You're Sick.... on: June 05, 2008 03:53:51 PM
...I've been stalking Craftster for months and finally decided to post a few of my creations.  I started making earrings not too long ago and I've been home sick for the past week or so, so I went into overdrive!  This is my first post, so comments are appreciated!
