1  Open Bust Jumper in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Dumbxluck on: August 06, 2008 08:38:39 PM
Hmmm, I wasn't sure what this would be called, but it kinda reminds me of a jumper.

Well, I saw MissDang make one of these, and I saw the tutorial, and decided to make one for myself. The site with the actually tutorial on it isn't working for me any more. But, it was pretty basic.

It was originally a guys medium button up shirt that I found at the local thrift shop. I love the fabric, but I am not in love with the end results. I don't really like the way it looks on my body. Any suggestion on what I could turn it into. ^^ I don't have much to work with any more.

2  Lemon Lime in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Dumbxluck on: July 24, 2008 10:49:09 AM
So, I started this shirt last night and finished it this morning. I messed up a bit while gathering the front, so I'll probably end up redoing it later.

3  Grim Luck in Stenciling: Completed Projects by Dumbxluck on: July 24, 2008 10:41:59 AM
The band Grim Luck had a picture on their Myspace that I had to make into a shirt. I'm pleased with the results.

4  Control Jacket in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Dumbxluck on: July 04, 2008 01:15:24 PM
This is my second jacket, I plan to make a few more this summer. I'm actually in the middle of a couple other projects, but I keep on putting them aside to make jackets. ^^;;

With the zipper alone, the jacket looked kinda plain, so I added a row of button on the other side of the panel.

5  Sheets to Skirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Dumbxluck on: June 29, 2008 05:19:01 PM
I bought some sheets for about $2 at the local thrift store and I made myself a skirt with it. I didn't notice until I took the pictures, but the fabrics had some weird fading going on. So, one edge is noticeably darker then the rest of the skirt. I don't really mind, I kinda like the way it looks. =]

6  My Double Dollar Jacket in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Dumbxluck on: June 29, 2008 05:14:48 PM
Even though it's summer I decided that I wanted to make myself a Vash-esque jacket. [Reference Picture] BTW, Vash is the main character in the anime Trigun.

There was a perfect Mccall's pattern, but I was too impatient to wait a week for it to go on sale. So, I ended up modifying a Butterick pattern [4665]. I know it has it's flaws, but I'm please with the end results and I can't wait for it to get colder outside so I can wear it.

7  Yellow Sun Dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Dumbxluck on: June 05, 2008 08:45:27 PM
I found this $2 a yard fabric from Wal-Mart and decided to make a dress. The first bodice I made was just epic fail. I just didn't like where the waist laid on me. The new bodice I was is a little big around the bust, but I think it'll be fine.

8  Fight Club, MSI, and The Grape Soda Jerks in Stenciling: Completed Projects by Dumbxluck on: May 12, 2008 07:08:37 PM
I did some stenciling over the summer, and I just got into it again. The Fight Club and MSI ones I did over the summer, and I did the Grape Soda Jerks one earlier this evening. I still need to work on the placement of the stencil on the shirt.

9  It looks half full to me... in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Dumbxluck on: May 02, 2008 08:15:18 PM
I was going to wait for my sewing skills to improve before I reconstructed any of my Threadless shirts, but I had a change of mind. This afternoon I decided to make use of my two sizes too small Pessimistic or Optimistic shirt. I made it into a halter using a XXL orange plaid button up shirt I got at the thrift store last week.

10  Hawaiian Print Skirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Dumbxluck on: April 27, 2008 07:16:55 PM
This is my first completed sewing project. I've done a little reconstruction before, but my sewing skills are still pretty limited. This is my first time doing gathering and attaching a zipper. I messed up a little a lot with the measuring, so I had to add two 4 inch panels - one for each side on the band.

Pardon my extremely messy room.

I'm not quite sure how much I like my boots with this skirt.
