Thanks. I used Lily Sugar 'n Cream in the color Rosewood. Quite soft too for such an inexpensive yarn.

I decided to try out the pattern as a first project and was delighted as how easy it was and how well they turned out! They'll definitely make it easier to use a camera outside, as mittens are too bulky and get fuzz on my lenses Angry

They're a bit loose but overall fit nicely. Thanks for the idea!

I have a slightly stupid question. I've just picked up crochet again after about a 20yr haitus(and I'm only 29!) so getting back into the swing of things is a bit slow going. I picked an easy project to start, wrist warmers, which are basically a large square of hdc's and dc's that I need to fit together. Now, I can't really tell which side is the "right" side by looking at it, since they look the same to me. Does it really matter which side is out?
