Oh Megzy818, you are a wonderful angel The postman left the envelope on my doorstop, so it got rained on ALL day. Luckily the contents were not wet! I really love manatees, so this hoop is perfect. The special item used were aquarium decorations. Thank you for coming to the rescue Megzy, and for taking the time during your travels to finish the hoop.

Amazing work! I'm envious of the recipient...wish it was me! Were certain patches requested or were you just given the idea to run with and hope for the best?(because it IS the best)

Well, my second partner still has not sent my hoop that I know of. She hasn't answered emails, and hasn't been on the site. I emailed Mezcraft, but I'll assume she also hasn't heard from my partner since I haven't heard from back from her either

I love the flowers on that hoop. They really pop!

Editing to add the hoop that I received from Shana82 a couple days ago. She made a cute little tree out of buttons  Still waiting on my other partner but I can't wait to see what she comes up with!

I'm glad to see that the feathers still look ok. I was a bit worried that they would get mangled in transit 

I braved a BLIZZARD to get to the post office and send my hoops  It actually wasn't too bad, but we did have a lot of snow. They both say expected delivery to be Friday so be on the look out!

I finally finished one of my hoops lol. I can't believe it took so long, and it's not perfect, but I hope my partner likes it. Now to power through tomorrow and make my second hoop. Thank goodness for a half day of work tomorrow!

So, I thought send-outs were on the 9th because I wrote the date wrong on my calendar lol. Boy am I in for a busy Sunday of stitching! I have been having trouble with one of my hoops, as in, it's not working out as gloriously in practice as it seemed it would on paper. I'm hoping it will still look alright when finished because at this point it's too late to start over.
