I had to buy this 7 Inch record called 'Tight Fit', as bandanas and teased hair graced the sticker. I like the idea of record purses, but figured they might be too bulky for me to lug around, so I cut this little sucker down to size, and it fits in my bag perfectly, and holds a variety of items.

I had made one of those tape wallets back in the summer that I've seen online, but I found it problematic to use with loose change. So I constructed another one to my own specifications. I extended the width of the wallet using additional fabric, and added matching lining. Also, the zipper doesn't go all the way around, just enough from side to side that allows me to open it without having change spewing out. I also added a keyring tab on the side, just so that when I do find my damn keys, I can attach them and not lose them and not lose them again. 

Hi all. Okay, I can't take credit for actually MAKING the bag, but i did a few alterations to it just to make it fit into my personal style. I found it for £1 at a charity shop down the street, i think they were ready to bin it, so I saved it. It was an ugly dirty beige color so i dyed it a creamy slate color [As i wear alot of gray/brown/dark green....so very not exciting].

It took SOOOOO long to dry completely [nearly 48 hours], but I really coated it and live in a damp basement flat. Since the octopus is my fifth favorite animal [after river otters, squirrels, donkey's and smushy face dogs like pugs, bulldogs and boxers], I thought it suitable to put the toy octopus on my bag. It was scratched up, so I painted it a peachy, shell pink and colored on the eyes, then attached it to the bag.

Hey, This is my first post on the site. This is a project I did a little over a year ago as a christmas present for my boyfriend.

I call it Mr./Ms. Glove. I've made/making a few [including the one as my profile picture...its suppose to be what I'd look like if I were a glove-person]. The hair is made of felt, the glasses I 'borrowed' off a Dollarama Santa decoration, the buttons were from my gram's button collection I inherited, and the central lining that I used between the glove material was given to me from my boyfriend, so I only thought it was suiting to use it for his gift. The x stitching mouth is suppose to be representative of my boyfriend's dour expressions [I usually make the mouth as a straight line stitch].

The shoulder bag was recycled from a dear old high school canvas bag I had, but fell apart.

The Mini Mac iBook laptop was constructed from my moms old cover girl blush case, which I hand and spray painted.

The guitar was hand painted and is a replica of my boyfriends Fender Jaguar

And the little bottle was  and old Barbie soda pop bottle that was in my toy box, which I labeled with his favorite pop Irn-Bru

I hope this offers ideas for future glove projects to some of you.
