Most impressive that you have a 2 1/2 week old and still have enough inspiration to make costumes! Bravo!!

Ditto! How did you manage enough time to boot? You should make yourself a supermom costume Smiley

Thanks for the compliments- my mom was thankfully in town to help out and freed up some time for me to put together some quickie costumes.

I sewed an apron, bow tie and made a paper hat to make my four year old a hot dog vendor

and made his 2 1/2 week old sister a hot dog in the stroller.

They were so cute.
9  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Little Owl Apron on: November 03, 2008 09:07:47 AM
I made this for my son to give as a birthday gift to his little friend, Lane, who is really into owls.
I think it will be cuter as it washes and frays a bit to give it some texture around the detail. I will be fine though because of the zig zag stitching around the detailing. Now I only wish I had made one for myself. but can't for a while- my sewing machine is on strike until I go get it serviced. I was just lucky I finished this before it quit.
