11  Speaker Herb Garden! in Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects by lorelei on: September 27, 2011 03:56:02 PM
My housemate and I have been on a crafting binge and I wanted to share our most recent project!

We gutted out two old speakers that the previous tenant left.

Next we planted an herb and tomato garden into the openings.  So far the plants are growing nicely and our dinners have gotten more delicious Smiley

12  Re: Embroidery Hoopla Rnd 6 Gallery!! (Send 9/12/11) in The Swap Gallery by lorelei on: September 23, 2011 04:01:23 PM
So after a crazy month of moving cross country, mother misplacing half my craft stuff while trying to send to me, & recovering from bronchitis, I am now situated in LA and picking up where I left off!  I'll be more and more active.  And now I must share my AMAZING hoopla which was the first thing to appear on my wall here Smiley  Songs4Drowning did her own adaptation of Sonic the Hedgehog for my love of video games and made this super cool skeleton hedgehog.  It's super cool AND educational!

13  Re: OTT Game of Thrones Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by lorelei on: September 16, 2011 09:42:11 AM
Sorry to be so out of the loop with all of this but I stupidly decided to move cross country in the middle of three swaps and am feeling a bit scattered.  Here are the photos of the gorgeous box a received a few days ago!

Inside was this amazing compact mirror accompanied with a letter sealed with wax addressed to Daenerys Smiley

15  Wordy Bottle Cap Earrings in CHALLENGE 65 ENTRIES by lorelei on: August 08, 2011 08:38:34 PM
I hope my last minute hasty photos to get these up here don't hinder my chances.  I will add better ones if I can later.  I've been working all week and have made nearly 50 bottle cap earrings for a yard sale I'm doing this weekend to help fund my move!  This is a whole serious I did based on words Smiley

16  Re: Craft This Tote (and fill it) GALLERY! (Send out by Aug. 1st) in The Swap Gallery by lorelei on: July 15, 2011 05:15:50 PM
I am in love with my package from leslieshappyheart!  I got it yesterday but couldn't upload photos till just now.  I've been happily munching on swedish fish all day waiting to share these with you all.

All of my amazing loot!

The tote itself.  It is so gorgeous.  In the card, Leslieshappyheart said it was her first attempt of a flower and I am blown away by how pretty it is!

Close up of coin purse so you can see the kitty on it. I didn't photograph them but inside were some bottle caps.  She must have noticed I do a lot of crafting with them on etsy Smiley

Bag filled with glass beads. I love them all!

My new bracelet which I have not taken off since opening the box.

Randomness: My cat modeling the coin purse.  She snuggled with it for a while Smiley

19  Da-na-na-na-na-na-BATBOX! in Completed Projects by lorelei on: July 15, 2007 05:05:22 PM
It took me forever to get around to taking pictures of this box I made for my boyfriend for Christmas.  I took an old wooden wine box I had been meaning to use in a craft and collaged it with old batman comics.  Then I filled it with batman trading cards, batman coloring book, brownies, movie passes, more comics, etc.  My boyfriend was quite pleased!

20  corset and prom skirt!! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by lorelei on: January 05, 2007 09:42:31 PM
I made this two years ago for my first real sewing project and never displayed my work.  I actually used a pattern for old fashioned lingerie with more formal fabric and tool.  I think it came out great especially with the color of the fabric but I doubt I will ever try to make a corset again!
