So, like most people do around here, I decided to make my dress for homecoming. Since I live in a small town with only one mall, all of the girls tend to have the same dress at homecoming, which can become kind of a drag, right?

Right.

So, with that in mind, I drove over to JoAnns and bought a bunch of blue jersey fabric and began to work on my dress. It then came to a standstill and sat on my chair for over a month. Finally, the day of homecoming, I drag a friend of mine and myself back to JoAnns to pick up the rest of the fabric I needed. Then, I finished it with a few hours to spare.

Oh, I Guess I should mention that it an infinity dress with reversible straps, as I thought there was wayyyyy too much blue in the beginning.
Here is the finished product!

I'm the one in the long blue dress (with the arrow, if you couldnt guess):

This is just one of me being a dork D: However, you do get a good look at the straps and top:

Its called a chemise. I'm not sure if you say it cha-mise or shim-ise, but either way its a chemise.

my suggestion for the zipper would be to scrap the old white one, and buy a new (longer) red one. Not only would it look better in the back, but it would fit better in the front.
