18  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: HOW TO: Nail stamp set? on: July 24, 2009 03:59:18 PM
I have that set (I know it wasn't cheap, but I don't regret it!) at first I didn't want to buy it either because of the cost, so I just bought one plate, cuz I figured I would never be able to engrave such intricate designs. I tried with regular nail polish and a stamper, but it won't come off. The nail polishes that come with the kit are super thick and gooey, made just for this. But I've been told that some nail polishes from the brand China Glaaze work too, though I've never tried them. And the stamper feels like an eraser (sort of). I didn't come up with an idea to make it myself that actually worked, so I bought it. but what in my opinion could be replaced, is the scraper. it IS a simple piece of metal.
