I'd cut into strips and spin this in a skinny second........lol

Cutest thing I've seen is the "Magic Santa Key"  ornament.  It's great for those homes that don't have a chimney........ Wink
3  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: the great t-shirt compromise on: August 22, 2011 09:52:29 PM
I love this!  I know t-shirt material tends to curl, what did you do to prevent that?

When I made my t-shirt quilt.......I used a basting spray.....and basted the squares to matching squares of a stash fabric I bought and then decided I hated.  They prevented the t-shirt material from curling by working as a stabilizing material,  and I didn't have to trash the hated fabric.  I imagine the same could be done with an old sheet.  Since the stabilizing fabric is on the inside,  you could recycle those old,  stained or threadbare sheets instead of trashing them.   Wink
4  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: How do you organize your fabric? on: August 22, 2011 09:22:39 PM
For those of you who aren't familiar with her site......http://www.quiltville.com/........Bonnie Hunter has an absolutely fabulous way to store.  You can find the info here:

She has pictures of her quilting room also throughout her site.  She's a hard-core quilter.........and I've found her system amazing at controlling the stash.   Roll Eyes

How about cut them all differently,  decoupage,  then arrange them with hot glue to make a desktop organizer?  Or......you could remove the top,  decorate,  add a magnet to the back........and hang on the fridge.  ( My fridge door is one of those messy-note-stations lol.  I would totally use them!)

Just a thought....

If you happen to know someone who is an insulin-dependent diabetic...........you could paint and decorate them and gift them as they are.  We use them to store used hypodermics until we can drop them off at the proper disposal place,  i.e. a doctor's office,  hospital,  or fire station.  Smiley

Your work is good enough (IMO) to find larger venues to show it in dear..........  Roll Eyes

Very nice balance of color........fabulous texture......extremely good title.........I'd say you could win a lot more than that with her........... Grin  ........you SERIOUSLY should consider finding other places to enter her in.........she's a queen who deserves to be seen!   Wink
