3  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Challenge #1 on: May 15, 2010 05:19:31 AM
i think i would be interesting to see what can be made of packing that you get when you buy diffrent products. such as milk cartons, diffrent plastic and glass containers etc. instead of just recycling, what can they be made into? I like this because it is "free" and plentiful material in our societies
4  EUROPE / SCANDINAVIAN/NORDIC / Re: Craftsters i Gteborgsomrdet? on: July 15, 2009 06:04:33 AM
This post seems pretty dead....
I'm back to GBG after a year in Spain and would like to try to get a group together for fall. If anyone is interested, it's en ought to be 3-5 people, and if we start meeting, I think we can find more people. One idea would be to go to "ppen atelj" at Bl Stllet. Check it out on: http://www.blastallet.goteborg.se/prod/gunnared/Blastallet/dalis2.nsf/vyPublicerade/F6A743027B50AED2C1256E7C003278EE?OpenDocument
Anyone interested?
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Tote bag: Knit fast die warm on: May 18, 2008 07:21:47 AM
Inspired by the craftster slogan "Knit fast - die warm" I made this tote bag for a knitting friend. The print is bleached with a felt-pen dipped in clorine and then painted in some of the bleached areas with fabric pens.

6  COOKING / Dessert / Re: more dirty cakes! [adults only!] on: May 17, 2008 07:06:28 AM
haha, these are funny and gross at the same time.
what I find the most amusing are the reactions "Watch out, kids might see them". You British and Americans have such a funny attitude to your bodies.
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: DIY IQ lights on: May 11, 2008 05:30:54 AM
I made a small one of old plastic candy boxes that I got from the local candy store. I haven't put a light in it yet but I hope it will work out. I think I will try to make one out of plastic that is not as clear. What are yours made of? Paper or plastic? Wink

Maybe a stupid question, but can you put mirrors in the oven when you bake the clay? Because I assume that you bake the clay in the oven?

I really dig the design of the mirrors!
