So we moved into our new apartment about two months ago but work has kept us from actually doing anything around here. Finally I got started today working on my fantastic crafting room and while cleaning out the boxes and what not, we realized how many freaking skateboards we have around the house and how desperately we need some book shelves.  Voila!  They're not in the craft room but they are placed in what we now refer to as the "reading cranny" (cause a cranny is way more fun than a nook IMO).

 Here's three of them installed. There's a fourth one to come but come 11p.m., we decided it was time to call it a night. As you can see on the bottom, we still have a TON of books to find a home for.  Yowzers!

I'm a little impatient and tend to jump right in when I have a plan, hence the lack of before picture. I totally spaced on that. But here you see the remains of a couple gutted speakers we had laying around.

I gutted, painted the inside and hung them on the wall with L brackets.  Then of course, covered them in some of my crap! Weeeee!
