Here's a little guy I made for cabaute in the Haunted Forest Swap.  She has named him Petrichor, which is perfect.   Cheesy  He's made of wool felt, a skunk skull, glass eyes, glass and wood beads, and snake vertebrae.

Wanted to share this giant monster costume my husband and I made for our neighbors' Haunted Hike this year.  "Yokai" are Japanese spirits/monsters.  This guy is about six and a half feet tall and eight feet wide.  Design, suit construction, hands and light-up eyeball by my husband, outer covering (mesh covered with strips of dyed old sheets) by me.  Performance by my husband, who used to be a professional puppeteer:

1 cup ground nuts - mixed nuts, sunflower seeds
1 cup ground rolled oats
1 T baking powder
1/2 t cinnamon
1/4 t nutmeg
2 bananas
1 cup fresh or frozen berries
1 t vanilla
1/4 cup milk
2 eggs
1/2 cup melted butter

Mix ground nuts, oats, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl.  In a food processor or blender, blend bananas, berries, vanilla, milk, eggs and butter.  Add to dry ingredients, put in a buttered brownie pan and bake at 350 F 1 hr or until done.  Cool on rack, slice into bars.
