my boyfriend just recently painted his vintage bike with spray paint
he used regular spray paint and sprayed it with a sealer.
its held up pretty well and he rides it everyday
the bike is a 1940s Huffman

so i finally finished this damn dress  Tongue it only took me a month...or two.
i used (Vogue V8184) much easier than my last one http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=239270.msg2629485#msg2629485
once again, unknown fabric bought off the $1 yd section at walmart.

i plan on wearing this to my Daycares graduation on thursday night
and i do plan on getting a black petticoat for it eventually

i recently bought a pair of wedge heels from walmart. they are really cute buuut the elastic on the back of them is loose and my foot pops out. i was just wondering if there is any way to fix it without destroying my shoes

so this started out as a practice dress but i actually really like it. yea there are some mistakes but it being black hides that in the pictures hehe Cheesy

i have no idea what this fabric is. i bought it off the $1 rack at walmart but its a thick material and the red is just what i had left over from another project.
i havent hemmed it or sewn on the straps..not sure if i want to or not. i might make them detachable


dont mind the skull i always seem to finish projects when i look my worse.. Cheesy

so i saw this cute little lace jacket thing online

 and i think its adorable! i would love to make one but how? could i use regular lace like chantilly lace? or does it need to be something more sturdy? and does anyone know of a pattern i could follow. im not very good at making up my own  Cheesy

since i didnt work today i decided to finally hem my dress, its not completely straight  Tongue but i did it in like 5 minutes.. Cheesy

so i'm making my own wedding dress. its going to be really simple
i used Easy Stitch n' save M5564 view B
i decided to make a practice dress because i've only made two other dresses before and they didnt turn out so well. for some reason i picked up some plaid at walmart for a buck a yd
i went really slow and the dressed turned out very well! im actually going to wear it out in public. i still need to hem the dress and do some other minor things.
excuse the messy hair/weird look on my face

bustline (excuse the bra)

i think it looks better with my petticoat on ( excuse the mess i was moping the kitchen =P)
