Glad you like everything katcal!!!!  I loved crafting for you and had alot of fun with this swap.   I am so glad you like the reindeer.  I think it would be beautiful on the tree, or hung on a wall, or from a Christmas wreath.  It is pretty big.  I need to make one for our family this Christmas.  The pattern was for the year (2009), but I thought the last name would be better.

On the teatowels I sent her, the fruits were on one side, and the veggies on the other.  I love the patterns for the fruits and veggies from Sublime Stitching and have used these patterns on some bibs for a friend's new baby, too.  The funny faces crack me up!

The second tea towel, I did with some tropical drinks....on the opposite corners.  These were fun.

Well the cutest thing I have seen on here yet is the little guy with his animals and foods.  LOL  He is adorable.

I am drooling over all the scrapbooking supplies and the dandelion art (love the fibers too....they are great and visible in the pic)

And yet again, amazing jewelry from phoenix!!!!  (I totally think you were cute in that pic anyway. LOL)

So, I went to run ALOT of errands today and came back to a full and overflowing mailbox.  How awesome is that.  I won a drawing for some craftiness and a few books a week or so ago, and recieved it, with 3 things I had bought from Ebay (shorts for the son), a package from a embroidery swap, and then my package from A2K!!!

She claimed me for some aida cloth for my cross stitching addiction and a craft book.  I didn't ask, because I wanted to be suprised.......and I was!!!  I have wanted this book for a long time and almost bought it twice in the last few weeks.  LOL  YEAH!!!  Thanks hun!

I received an awesome package from katcal today from across the seas.  OMG, she completely spoiled me ladies!!!!  WOW!!!

Here some of the things she sent me:

A lovely stitched owl.  I love the colors, and the design.  I plan on hanging this in my living room.  It has blues, tans and browns in it, and it is framed with some lovely brown fabric that matches my couch perfectly (as you can see in the background)

And a cute little embroidered turtle.  Noah looked at it and instantly said TOOTLE!  LOL  His newest addiction is turtles!

Now look at the embroidery supplies she sent me!!!  *drools*  (and some tea too....I love tea!)  It includes some red/white/blue varigated embroidery floss, two tiny spools of glow in the dark thread (I know just what I am going to use this on kat!  I am making a bug jar quilt for my son and I have wanted some glow in the dark thread to stitch on some of the bugs so they glow in the dark for a cool effect, and these colors will be perfect!!!!), some lovely face patterns from my favorite place.....Sublime Stitching, and another little kit with the thread and beads to finish it!

Now for all the lovely extras!!!  (along with the tea), I received some yummy chocolate (already ripped into it and had a piece), and three cookbooks *drools again*!!!  WOW!!!!

Katcal:  Thanks so much for everything!!!!  I am feeling very spoiled and loved today!  I completely forgot we were going to send each other goodies from our homelands. DUH!  So I will get something together to send you this week!   *slaps forehead*

Great items gals.  Love the tshirts............I have never tried freezer paper stenciling, but I want too!

Lovely verse art, and bag...really cute.

I received today from KCMonkey.  What a wonderful package!!!!

Here is how my items were packed, in white paper with beautiful ribbons!

First a package for my son:

Cars stickers.  He loved them KC!  Thanks so much.  He is addicted to this movie and later this month, we are having a Car themed birthday party!

ok, now on to my goodies:

An adorable apron!  OMG....I love it.  I squealed with delight when I saw it, and hugged it immediately.  LOL   I adore cupcakes and she incoorporated that in the bottom ruffle, and some of my favorite colors are pink, brown and turqouise, so it is great.

A close up of the pocket which reads "Jesus (in turquoise) the sweetest love (below it in pink)

A tree of life with verse wall hanging.  If you look at my wists, you know I adore anything to do with the tree of life, so this perfect.  I instantly started looking around to see where on my walls it will go!  LOL  I think I found the perfect spot in my kitchen!

And lastly, a little monster.  LOL  Look at the heart and the tiny cross!!!    The tag attached to his ear said: " I may be a silly monster, but I have Jesus in my heart.  Won't you help me spread His love?"  (Oh, and by the way, he is made out of the cutest softest cupcakity flannel with a cherry on top you have ever seen)

And another of my son handing me back the monster.  Just because he is so stinkin' cute. LOL

Hopefully you will get your packages in the next few days KCMonkey!!!!  I love everything!  Thanks again for being such a great swap partner.

Hey everyone.  I had to catch up on a few pages of gallery photos.  I love it!  LOL

Great cards and felt beads.

Wish we could smell those candles bsonlyboots!!!  And that yarn is gorgeous!!

I like that snuggie.  What a cool idea.

Love the owl apron.  So cute.  And the other owls are just as adorable!

Lovely therapy neck/back pack.  I need to try my hand at making one of those!!!  Lovely fabric.

Crocheted bangles?? Never seen them before.  What a neat idea.  I like them.  Beautiful.

And now.....for the goodies I received from Phoenix in the mail a few days ago.  She stalked my wist and saw that I loved her "pearl swirl" creation and decided to make me one of my very own!  YIPEEEEEEEEEEE!!!  I love it.  Then she saw that I had updated things and that I had a bird's nest necklace on my wist with BLUE eggs and decided I needed both items.  YIPEEEEEEEEEEE Again!  LOL  I love both pieces and am so suprised and impressed that she used a magnetic clasp!!!  I usually struggle a little with those other clasps if i can't just put it over my head.

Here are the pics:  (apologies for the bad pics!)

Hey everyone!!!  I claimed KittyVegas for a birthday crown for her little one's first birthday when I saw it on her tagline.  (you can see it above)  In return I asked her for some knitted washcloths (and a few felt fortune cookies....my little guy loves them).

Here are the goods:  (The peach washcloth has a lovely pattern to it, the red one looks like it has a cupcake in it, and the green looks like an animal on it.  I wish I could have captured that in the pictures!  SHUCKS!  Oh well....I love them!)

Thanks KittyVegas!!!

I got my swap package from sugaree today.   She claimed me for a wisty something, but when I pressed her to know what it was, SHE WOULDN"T TELL ME!!!  LOL  She gloried in the fact that I had no idea what she was sending even after sending me this hilarious hint of what it was.  What a brat!!!

She sent me some swiffer covers and some cute earrings.

The pic doesn't do the earrings justice.  The greenish stone is irridescent and pics up the light when you wiggle it.  LOL  I love them.

She also sent a little key fob thingy with blue flower beads on it.  It is pretty, and I took pics of it but I think it is made with vampire beads or somthing.  The pics won't show up!!!  LOL  Like it is invisble in the pic.  How hilarious is that? Did you put a spell on me too sugaree??

Thanks so much sugaree.  It was a fun swap with you!!!

9  Friends, Cheaper Than A Shrink Cross Stitch Pillow in Needlework: Completed Projects by missgabbielynn on: March 10, 2009 02:46:45 PM
I made this a LONG time ago for a swap partner in a Friends TV show swap.  It is all cross stich, and then I framed it with black fabric and put a brightly colored turquoise print.  I almost didn't want to give it up.

10  Black Apple Doll Sisters: Adopted Out! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by missgabbielynn on: March 10, 2009 02:39:58 PM
I made two Black Apple Dolls last year.  One was for a COWS swap.  The other was for a birthday present for my 5 year old neice.

I loved them, and hated to separate them though. LOL
