Ok, so I love this goldenrod yarn i picked up at hobby lobby and i thought it would look good with a bit of charcoal yarn i had lying around. I used my own pattern and thus was born the Acorn Hat! lol. seriously, it makes me look like an acorn head, but i love it.
But don't take my word for it, here are the pics! Cheesy

ooh, forgot to add that i made the button out of polymer clay. and, as i have stated before, I love hobby lobby yarn! ok, carry on. Wink

so i decided to try to experiment with my own hat pattern. I usually make hats with evenly spaced ribbing separated with dcs, so i decided to forgo the dcs and use increasing clusters. at least i think they are clusters, i could be wrong. to my suprise, the clusters didn't just increase the crown size, but also made the ribbing kinda wave like! anyway, i hope i can do it again, lol. the best part about this hat is that i made the heart button myself! oh, and excuse my goofy pics, i hate having to be a model, lol.

ooh, what about some little amigirumi toys for the kids! you can also make some pretty doily bowls. i have seen them on ravelry.

I should do a group of videos for left handed people lol   Had I attempted to do it the way she did I would have given up.  But my left handed brain doesn't work the same logic of a right handed person (even watching it in a mirror it was still off for me lol)

You should definitely do that! i had to teach myself how to crochet b/c i couldn't wrap my brain around pics or videos with right handed instructions. i am fine now, but boy would that have been helpful before!

oh, if anyone wants to know, the yarn is "I love This Cotton" from Hobby Lobby. seriously one of my favorite yarns, and i have tried alot!
