We spent Halloween at Disney for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween. Rather than go with the more 'traditional' Jack & Sally for a Nightmare Before Christmas themed Costume. Hubby & I decided to be Lock, Shock & Barrel.

Being only 2 of us, Lock was represented by a plush character from my NBC collection.



My Shock costume
Mask: created out of felt, fabric stiffener & binder clips to hold the shape while things dried.
Hat: wire & costume satin
Dress: NBC T-shirt I already owned, Cotton A-line skirt handmade.


Barrel:
Mask: Plastic hockey mask purchased and modified; filled holes, cut new ones, and painted white & mouth details.
Clothing: Plain black t-shirt purchased and hand stenciled w/ acrylic paint mixed fabric medium.


We had so much fun with the costumes! And it was awesome when we were spotted by other NBC fans & Disney Cast Members.

I'm a huge Labyrinth fan so I digitized & machine stitched a few patches inspired by the movie.

My hubby has been taking classes and needed something to tote his books & laptop back & forth to school. So I created this messenger bag without a pattern, just a few requests to separate the laptop section, add a zipper pocket and a side pocket for the power adapter.

The Zombie Survival, COC & Ministry patches I embroidered all the others my hubby has had for awhile.

I created this for my sisters birthday. Started out with a plain purchased hoodie and embellished it with the stenciled hood and lined it with leopard print fabric and added the heart applique.
