1  A Picture of my Bootee(s) in Knitting: Completed Projects by Snaqueb on: March 21, 2008 09:33:43 AM
I can't remember where here on craftster that I first saw these, but I decided to make a pair of the Saartjes Bootees for my baby-to-be!  I just love them, so a BIG thank you to whoever posted them!  Smiley  Smiley  Smiley

Not bad for a first attempt ever at making bootees!  The yarn I used was a bit of a pain in the "booty" (kept unraveling itself).  But I guess that's what you get for buying yarn in bulk that says "100% Unknown fiber" LOL!  (I'm fairly sure that it's acrylic!)  Now I just have to find some cute buttons!

2  First attempt at lace knitting! in Knitting: Completed Projects by Snaqueb on: February 01, 2008 09:06:28 AM
Wow, I've been knitting up a storm lately!  Here's another project I just finished - this time in lace knitting.  It was my first attempt at lace knitting on my machine, and it turned out fantastic (if I do say so myself - lol)!  It took me a while to finish, because you have to move all the stitches around, but I love the end result!  It's in Bernat Satin, so it's really soft but has a neat texture because of the lace.

Still on the Machine

3  Yoga Mat Bag in Knitting: Completed Projects by Snaqueb on: January 28, 2008 03:22:17 PM
I'm almost done my yoga mat bag, but couldn't resist sharing it early!   Smiley  The knitting part is finished, and all I have to do is add the straps and drawstring hardware.  I knit this up in a flash, on my knitting machine, in tuck stitch.  It was a lot simpler to do than I thought it would be!  The pics don't do the texture justice!

I haven't posted 10 things yet, so here's the link to my flickr page:
