What a terrific quilt!  It's very cheerful and festive.  Nice work!

Wow, it's stunning!  I love your quilting, it's so frivoluous and fun.  Kudos to you for taking on a super-challenging quilt as your first - you are a brave and hardy soul!

They do look like swastikas - but the Sanskrit svasti, the symbol for Love, was around for a long, long time before a few dumkopfs twisted it around and made it ugly. Wink  I think they also look a little like peppermint twist candies, but that's just the way my mind works ...

I made a table runner and napkins for my Mom for Christmas.

I used a Fly Foot block with diagonal quilting.

Also, matching Christmas Tree napkins courtesy of CraftSanity:

Both projects were easy and they looked great on her (large!) table.

Very cute!  I like the matching iron bag.  Does it work (so far) for keeping little fingers off?

This is just lovely!  Your stitchery is terrific, it really makes the piece.  I didn't notice anything wildly out of place, and you can always say you were going for contemporary flair - so you've done a nice job melding traditional and modern styles!

Congratulations, it looks great!  For a matching cushion I'd be tempted to go with the same pattern or with a log cabin or wonky log cabin (good tutes easily found online); I would suggest alternating the prints with the yellow if you have enough fabric to do so, to showcase those lovely prints.

It came out beautiful!  Your fabrics are just gorgeous and the piecing is spot-on.  The backing fabric is perfect too!

This rocks!  I love the sheer underwings and your beading is perfect.  This is the cutest bug I've seen  in a long time!

You did a great job!  He will love it.  The squirrel and the mailbox are so cute!
