Love this project! I didn't have the florist foam but I made a flat version that makes me chuckle every time I open the door.

Ooh, the geometric-style is awesome. What is the mint green polish?

4  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Paper Cut + Postcard Save-the-Dates on: June 24, 2013 04:12:31 PM
These are my overly-ambitious wedding Save-the-Dates! For the record, I would definitely not recommend individually cutting out 45 separate invitations, but I think they came out pretty well.

Each of the red pieces was placed over a vintage postcard (hooray for ebay!), so there are horizontal and vertical versions.

The backs are stamped with a faux-typewriter print:

Thanks for looking!

9  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Re: Apartment Kitchen- Help me redecorate on: July 03, 2012 11:42:55 AM
For the 7' x 7' space, how about a high table with barstools with a "soda pop" shop feel? Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Specialty-Chrome-Barstools-Stools-Vinyl/dp/B003A19UNO/ref=sr_1_12?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1341340891&sr=1-12&keywords=bar+stool+pink

New curtains would probably make the biggest impact. It'll be easy and cheap to make your own and you can find retro-reproduction fabrics.

Add pastel flour/sugar jars like this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/82761451/vintage-canister-set-for-flour-sugar This is very thiftable!

10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Backlog of Hoopla art! Felt, Buttons, Beads, Zentangles and more (pic heavy!!) on: July 02, 2012 03:54:03 PM
Wow, so many beautiful hoops! I love the watercolor ones, especially.
