When I made my husband's Gears of War (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=398193.0
) quilt, my son all but demanded that I make him a Halo quilt, so here it is. Instead of making a binding for this one, I just wrapped the fleece around to the front. Since I hand tied this one it just seemed to make more sense to me. I have no idea why, lol.
When trying to find a good Halo symbol/logo I came across this one in a few places. I'm not 100% sure it is one that is even used in the game but Thomas said that was the one he wanted because it shows the helmet. Apparently to a six-year-old, the helmet is everything, lol.
I used regular embroidery floss for the ties but am already seeing them come loose. Any suggestions for tha? I really don't want to use yarn, but I suppose if that is what is needed to make it last I'm up for it.
Thanks for looking!!
