Don't know if you've found an angel, yet, but I sent you a PM.  Sorry to bother you if you've already found someone!

First and foremost, I need to apologize to Magadoo for taking so long to post pictures of the wonderful package she sent me.  I also want to apologize to both Magadoo and RyverChyld since they both had to contact me to remind me to get the pictures posted. 

Okay, now off to the fabulousness!!

First, is a group shot of everything that Magadoo sent me.  I have to say that she really nailed my preferences and sent me a great grouping of things!


Here is the beautiful ruffled scarf that she made me.  The colors in the scarf are beautiful and I love the way this scarf wears.  It is so cozy and warm without being bulky at all.

Next is the awesome beanie she sent me.  (Please excuse the "morning-after-Halloween" appearance.  )  I really like the rust/yellow color combo and the open work of the hat is perfect for our not-too-cold weather.


I love these fingerless gloves.  The fit me really well and I like the fact that I don't have to take my rings off to have warm hands.  Again, the color combo is great!


Finally is the extra she sent me which is a ribbon-tied selection of gourmet hot chocolate (accompanied by the cute note she sent)!  I can't wait to dig into these!



Thanks so, so much Magadoo!  You really outdid yourself with this swap and went above and beyond the requirements!!  I really, really appreciate it and want to apologize again for being a crummy partner.  I hope the package you receive from me goes a little way towards making up for it.

I was almost finished with my scarf and ripped it out because it looked so terrible.  It was a great pattern, but too advanced for me.  I started the "new" scarf last night and am about 1/3 of the way done with it.  It's cold and dreary here, so I'll be spending the next few nights on the couch getting it done.  One small is complete and the other is a one-nighter, so I'll take care of that the night before send-outs while the Halloween treats are baking.

I've been a bit behind this whole swap, but I'm pretty sure I'll get the scarf finished tonight!  DH and I have some Halloween shows to watch, so I'll be working while they're on.

I received the most wonderful package from Magadoo yesterday!  It may have been sitting at the PO for a while since I've been working through lunch and didn't make it there to pick it up the rest of the week. 

I'm so thrilled with what she sent to me!!  I wore the scarf this morning since we got our first frost overnight.  DH and I have a date tonight, but I'll be sure and get pictures up tomorrow.

Hey, everyone!  Sorry for being MIA!  I got hit with the flu and was in bed all last week.  Today's my first day back at work since the 8th.  I'm not 100% yet, so I'm going to hold off on finishing Magadoo's scarf until Wednesday and then I plan on doing her smalls while DH is out fishing this weekend. 

I hope everyone is doing well!

I finished up my last item today.  I plan on shipping out mid to late this week!

Woohoo, I'm so excited!!!  I can't wait to see the greatness!


I'm at home sick today and I'm really bummed about it.  I'm hoping it's just a cold, but it feels like it might be the beginning of strep (I used to get strep all the time).  UGH!  Oh well, I'll be spending the day in bed with my laptop, cruising for backup patterns in case the one I'm working on fails!

I started on my scarf this week, but it's a difficult pattern for me, the likes of which I haven't attempted.  Anyhow, I scrapped it and am going to try again this weekend.

I haven't started on the smalls, but I do have a pretty good idea of what they are going to be.  I'll fine tune and finish them when I'm done with the scarf.

Wow!  A sender already!!  That's fast work.


I believe that I settled on a pattern, but I'm a bit scared of it, so I'm going to do a practice run tonight with some scrap yarn.  I'm headed to a "real" city and am going to buy the yarn and supplies for the smalls this weekend.
