Wow, you guys did such a fabulous job! I have a deep appreciation for how much work went into it by the way. My husband and I have flipped houses, the first of which was pretty much a rebuild of a 1921 California bungalow (hmm, I should post pictures of that!). We did almost all the work on that flip ourselves, so I feel ya! It always amazes us what we uncover when we start to take things apart on old homes. I can't tell you how many times we've just turned to each other and said, "What the hell were they thinking?"
I love the teal color, and your Christmas decorations look so amazing in there! But I have to ask: are you planning to get new dining room furniture now? Your table and chairs now look too casual for the fabulousness that is the rest of the room. I know grandpa made you new legs for the table; maybe the table would be okay painted and with different chairs? (Ikea has cool black chairs for only $20 I think!)
Anyway, I don't mean to nitpick. It really is an amazing transformation. You are right to be proud!
