1  Puff, the Dragon with Unusually Large Feet in Knitting: Completed Projects by hngoodlett on: January 06, 2011 05:01:59 PM

My oldest niece loves Puff the Magic Dragon, and wore a dragon costume for about 2 months straight, so I decided to knit her a dragon for her 3rd birthday. I got the patter from Knitty (http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter06/PATTnorberta.html). I didn't make any real changes, except I used basic cotton yarn, so it could be washed, and didn't use two strands held together (I would actually do this if I were making it again, because I think it would look a lot better). I left off a lot of the details (i.e. googly eyes) because I didn't want her or my other niece choking on a button or something.

This is the first thing I've knitted that wasn't a basic garter stitch scarf or something, so it's certainly not perfect (see his ridiculously disproportionate legs), but I think it turned out really well in the end.

Here you can see the wings a little better.

I finally have pictures!

3. Lincoln Cross Stitch
I actually made a post about this because I'm super proud of it. I will figure out posting thumbnails from Flickr one day, but for now here's a link! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=369228.msg4339892#msg4339892

11. Kindle Cover
It's not elaborate, so I won't make a post about it, but here's a pic:

25. Make butter.
This was something I wanted to do, and then necessity forced my hand when I was out of butter but really needed to eat some cornbread. I just shook up some cream in a canning jar; it was awesome. I realize the picture looks awful, but trust me.

3  Honest Abe Cross Stitch in Needlework: Completed Projects by hngoodlett on: January 06, 2011 04:39:13 PM

I have been working on this tiny Abe Lincoln on and off (mostly off) for like a year and a half, and now he's finally finished! I made the pattern in Photoshop, which I was pretty proud of. Hope you like him!

4  Re: WoW(World of Warcraft) Swap Gallery!! in The Swap Gallery by hngoodlett on: May 10, 2010 04:24:43 PM
I (my boyfriend) received a lovely angel package from Spiderbite, who was kind enough to send to us even though she doesn't play WoW. Check out our awesome loot!

The cute letter she sent with the package

This adorable drawing that she did that made her think of WoW. He looks so great. I'm going to hang him on the wall once we move.

WoW stickers (horde symbol, logo, and his character's name) and 100 gold!

A book that I'm going to read soon

World of Wisecrack joke book

A beautiful journal/sketch book. It is so incredible!

Thanks so much Spiderbite! We both really appreciate it!

Finally have pictures!

An awesome library bag that I'll probably carry everywhere!

Lotion bar/cuticle cream that feels so so good. My hands have been dry for months.

Awesome wetbag, the lining is from an air mattress (isn't that genius?). I have a picture of the outside, but I think Photobucket ate it.

Seed packets and stickers to label the plants. I can't to plant these (And none of them are duplicates of the seeds I bought!)

Super cute menu planning sheets that were at the front of my frugal cookbook. It has some great recipes and instructions for making sun-dried tomatoes (Yum!) I can't wait to try some of them (sundried tomatoes are coming up as soon as I find a good sunny spot)

A huge supply of produce bags!

I love everything. Thanks so much StrawberryH!

After a battle with Photobucket, I finally am here with pictures of my lovely artwork from Banga!
She sent me two adorable little birdies to hang up in my new apartment.

I got a totally awesome package from SapphireMoon yesterday!

The adorable card:

A super-cute tree pouch

A beautiful tree necklace. There's a bird and leaf on it, but I'm a bad photographer, so you might not can tell.

A key charm bracelet (the keys are so cute!) and matching phone charm

A totally awesome loaded charm bracelet

Action shot, so you can see how full it is. It makes great little tingling noises when I move my wrist.

Thank so so much TSM! I love everything!

I finally got time to sit down with my knitting supplies from Zombie Queen. I present to you my first non-scarf project, the ball of wonder:

I don't know what I'll do with it, but I'm excited!

10  Re: Sweat Shoppe Swap Round 22 (signups close Feb 14) (send by March 1) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by hngoodlett on: February 13, 2010 02:45:33 PM
I'll be offering 5 travel jewelry rolls. I haven't made the ones for the swap yet, but here's one I made as a Christmas gift.

It's hard to tell in the picture but it has loops for bracelets/necklaces and a button down part for rings.
