I got this Twilight shirt at walmart on clearance, w00t!, so I decided to make it awesome and give it a spider web back.

I love shredded tees, and if they didn't take forever I'd make a million of them Tongue!

44  Dancing Skeletons and Baby Circus in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Boo_its_Brittany on: September 05, 2009 09:11:03 PM
Just a couple skirts.

Dancing Skeletons Cheesy!
Gothic Loli skirt and matching headdress. (Originally, I made a dress, but it looked horrid so I chopped it in half and hemmed and added elastic to make it a skirt. I still have the bodice because I did a good job on it, if I may say so myself, and I want to salvage it.)
It was my first time making a headdress. and I hope I can pull it off.

Just a colorful little pinafore Smiley!
The fabric is called "baby circus" or something along those lines. I lovelovelove baby prints, they're so darling :3!
I'm still a n00b at circle skirts so the hem is kind of wonky, but I love it.
Its got a zipper, heart lace, and bows where the straps meet the waistband :3!

&Yep.

45  Reconned cons' in Shoes: Completed Projects by Boo_its_Brittany on: August 10, 2009 01:27:00 AM

Reconned converse.
I took the studs off an old belt and covered the outer side of each shoe  along with some leopard print on one shoe and musical notes on the other, and on the inside of each shoe I stenciled "Panic" on the left and "Disco" on the right. I stenciled glow in the dark exclmation points all over the inner sides of the shoe.

46  Toys make the best jewelry, am I right? in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Boo_its_Brittany on: August 10, 2009 01:23:23 AM

My Little Pony necklace.
It was pure coincidence that I made this about the same time as painting the shirt Tongue!
She came with a little tiara but I lost it yesterday :[!

Zombie finger puppet necklace.
I saw this little display of zombie finger puppets in the store in the mall and thought "I can make that into a necklace...." as I often do think with random toys and things. I had to be kinda clever on how I attached him, I twisted an earring hook to attach the chain.

Bubbles keychains from Michaels to a necklace.
Not difficult, really. I just took off the keychain and attached a necklace chain.

Rubber spider necklace.
I'm actually kind of afraid of spiders.... (mainly the big ones.... o.o!) but I'm also intrigued by them. But the idea of a necklace made of rainbow spiders was too good to pass up. Haha.

Possibly the most useless and dangerous glasses ever. Haha.
I popped the lenses out of these cheap plastic glasses I got free when I ordered from the fueled by ramen store last year but I wouldn't really wear them.
I was inspired by disco balls.
I cut apart CDs and hot glued them to the frames. I tried to sand down the edges of the pieces so they don't stab me and it seems to have worked. They aren't as sharp as you'd think to begin with.
Not sure if I'll ever wear them in public but.... still a fun project.

I used the extra pieces of cut up CD to make this pendant.

And yes. :]!

47  Panda bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Boo_its_Brittany on: August 10, 2009 01:08:07 AM

I found some faux fur in the remnant bin at joanns also and snagged it, with really no idea of what I'd do with it. I decided on making a little pouch bag thing to wear on my belt if I wear a skirt or something that doesn't have pockets. I was gonna make a monster bag but decided the type of fur fit a panda more then a monster. Plus, pandas are uber adorable !

48  My Little Pony, Lace, and Tie Dye! in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Boo_its_Brittany on: August 10, 2009 12:59:53 AM
w00000t!

My Little Pony!
I transfered the picture from a coloring book page onto a tshirt, painted it, and reconned it. I gave it a snugger fit and puffy sleeves. I made a stupid mistake by not trimming the shoulder sleeves when putting in the puffy sleeves, thus they look funny and I have to pull them up, but I love the shirt, none the less.

I bought a remnant of lace at joanns and decided to make a ruffly neck, gothy-lolita-victorian esque top.
I took a black tshirt, made it fit better, cut the icky neck band into a swoop neck, gave it puffy sleeves (I seem to always do that when I recon tshirts.... Hmm...) and made the neck ruffles out of the lace.

My sister and I tie dyed a some shirts.
Hers came out better, (but I didn't get a picture. darn!)
We forgot to put the powder stuff.... so not sure whats gonna happen to these bad boys.
They're already kinda faded cause we forgot them out in the sun, but I love 'em and I can't wait to tie dye something else. :]!

49  Checkers, Care Bears and Wow Wow Wubbzy! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Boo_its_Brittany on: August 10, 2009 12:48:23 AM
Its been a while since I last posted.
(Kinda. Haha)
I was actually busy for a while, actually having a social life Tongue!

Anyways:

I made this checkered top using some pattern. (I HATE PATTERNS >:O!) Its got great shirred detailing on the sides to give it shape. Although it looks MUCH better OFF me then on.... :/!
I plan on using it as part of a costume for the new Alice in Wonderland movie. (Yes, I'm waaaay. Early. Haha) I'm gonna be a type of Mad Hatter/Alice mixture with some goth tossed in. Haha. I plan on making a mini top hat and using my skirt&apron from my 16th birthday party. We'll see Tongue!

Care Bears and hot pink. What's not to love?
I bought this fabric to make pants like my purple and rainbow ones but got so frustrated with the pants pattern I was using, (BLARG PATTERNS!) so I decided I'd make a tiered ruffly skirt out of it.
It was intended to be high waisted but it came out too short to be high waisted, but magically came out big enough to fit my actual waist. Haha. Yay happy sewing mistakes.

Wow wow!
I absolutely fell in LOVE with this Wow Wow Wubbzy fabric at walmart and bought up about three yards.
I couldn't figure out what to make out of it: a skirt? a dress?
I decided on a nice summery dress.
The back is shirred (LOVE!) and theres a ruffle along the bottom.
I wore it to the beach the other day and had a little toddler following me, completely amused by it and a mother stop her children to point out the fabric. It was so adorable.

My mom loved it so much that she requested I make her one to  use as a nightgown.
No full shots of hers but I have a shot of the fabric she chose.

Same style, just different fabric.

Ya like? :]!
