I am going thrifting with $12. What should I be on the look out for?

I also added a little glitter to the top layer. And the bottom grape layer is made with  a grape jolly rancher instead of kool aid.

any questions just post or PM me.

Just melt lipgloss, chapstick, lipbalm, and vaseline (make sure all the lip stuff is the same or close to the same falvor and color.) Then you can add whatever flavor you want. I added kool aid mix for the flavor and mixed it together. Then i filled the container half way with purple then did the same with red. Put it in the freezer for a while until its the texture you want, and tada! yummy. I also made some in chocolate latte.

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: What do I do with this mountain of fabric?? ( VERY img heavy) on: January 24, 2008 07:49:45 AM
What's the yardage on these fabrics?  That would definitely make a difference in what you can make.

There is a little more than a yard and 1/2 of the penguin. The same for the stars, and the rest just varies. They are all old clothes and stuff. So I would say a yard or two for most of it.

I got a lucky find today. The thrift store had a bag of old clothes for FREE. Of course I jumped on the chance to take it for some fabric since I have been working on my sewing skills. Now I have a ton of fabrics and old clothes to cut up and I don't know what to do with any of it. Any help? Here are some pics of some of the items.

That is awesome! I collect action figures so I will have to find one of those on Ebay now!
