Alrighty! Here's the tute! Grin

(Its my first, so if its confusing just let me know.)

Dress tute:

Step One: Measure your doll's 'chest' area. Then measure that number on the fabric of your choice plus seam allowence. Add and inch for closure stuff.

Step two: Cut the length that you measured, it will be: 'your measurement' x 3 in. Fold in half.

Step three: measure the length of the skirt you want. Cut that length out, for the width measure the bodice and a an inch-2 inches on each side for gathering.

Step four: sew up the bodice along one side and the bottom, turn. Sew up the remaining side.

Step five: hem one end of the skirt, and for the other side set the stitch length up to gathering. (I set mine on six, but whatever works for you.) Sew the other end, not hemming it, and gather to the length of the bodice.

Step six: Pin the now gathered skirt and bodice right sides together and sew. Turn.

Step seven: Sew back two seams of skirt, add closure of your choice... And voila! Your very own dress!
Sorry for the small amount of pics, but my camera quit working right in the middle! If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask! Grin
