Sweet! Thanks for all the suggestions=)

i_am_alexia, here's a close up.
I was sort of on my own as far as photo-wise, because I had no one to take the pictures of me. So I had to do the whole self-timer deal Tongue

Thanks again guys=)

Hello all! Uhm I seriously have 13294893 million fabrics laying around at home, but I haven't had the inspiration to create anything, so I just went to Joann fabrics and picked up some iron on letters and a graphic transfer, then went to Target, bought a 7.99 dollar tank top and made this:  Tongue
The shirt says "I exist for you," which is a lyric from my favorite Christian Rock band.

whatcha think?
Also, do you guys know of any sites where I can go to for inspiration? I have sewer's block, aha Cheesy
Any sewing sites? Other D.I.Y. sites? Photography sites? Anything will do. Thanks Smiley

3  I call it a 'capelet,' but you can call it what you feel in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by MyHypnoticHeart on: April 27, 2007 07:18:43 PM
Houndstooth is great, it really is!
So, the truth about this...thing is: it was supposed to be a jacket. Yeah. Well, I tried doing sleeves and I butchered it. Then I felt like doing something with the front, and that's how it all ended up like. I like it anyhows and I call it a "capelet." I added the two little buttons for cuteness-sake, even though it I added them for it to also open and close Tongue. The black tanktop underneath is not attached.
Anyways, silly pictures: Cheesy

Hi! This is probably one of my first if not my first post on Craftster! Yes! I was a lurker, only coming on to see and comment on other people's projects but never sharing mine Undecided

Anywho I am a fellow crafter and I fiiiiiiiiiiiiiinally got my own serger for Christmas Grin Before this I was using my regular, old sewing machine, and LET ME TELL YOU...there is a definite difference WHEW! Cheesy

So this is my first shirt made using my serger. I'm quite happy with the results, being that I had never used a serger in my life hahaa And threading a serger is like having a mental breakdown haaha Tongue:

Here's the detail of the lace on the sleeve:

Here's a close up of the "lip of the neck:"

And here's my sergerrrrrrrrrrrrr<3 Tongue

Comments as well as criticism welcome Smiley
