I agree, I had all these ideas and then I realized I couldn't just steal an image of the internet, and my drawing skills are pretty bad. But I think I've figured out some cool ideas that are actually managable

You have way more integrity than me.  I have resorted to totally stealing images from anywhere I can find them, and mashing them all together so the originals are unrecognizable, for the most part.   I am altering the hell out of stuff with a liberal dose of copyright free clipart.  This is how I do things that are non-abstract because I cannot draw to save my life.  I believe it's all good for the purposes of art that is just for personal use.

Oh don't get me wrong I'm totally still stealing some images but I'm altering it myself.
