51  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Night of The Living Drag Queens on: March 06, 2008 12:22:46 PM
As many of the creations I make, I am inspired by Wednesday 13. I decided to make a stencil shirt of his old band, Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13.

I know it's a little slanted... Undecided

I'm going to a Tokio Hotel concert on Monday and I was so frustrated that I can't find any merch at any retail stores (go figures) and the ones they're selling on their webstore is like 25.00 for a shirt - which is around $40 US dollars; as much as I love the band I wasn't going to spend that much on a band tee. So I got myself some fabric paint and an old shirt & Voila!

I think Bill's hair turned out really cool; I was expecting to mess up on it.

I kind of messed up a tad bit with Tom but other than that I thought it came out pretty good  Cheesy

Tell me what you guys think!   Wink
53  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Corduroy blazer to something AMAZING -CHAINS-ZIPPERS-FISHNETS! on: February 12, 2008 05:16:27 PM
So last summer I had an internship with Citigroup which led me to buy all these business clothes. My mom brought me this black corduroy blazer that I never wore because it was too big and it fitted weird on my body.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

I really liked the way it turned out =]

The idea of straps was a total accident; I'm glad it was!. I, originally, wanted to put the chain behind the buttons but as I was clamping it close the button broke! LOL! So I took off the buttons and sewed on straps (which I took from an old skirt).

Closeup on the zippers.

This is the back of the blazer...bad angle.

The sleeve

Hope you guys enjoy it! =]

54  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Big Boxy Band Shirt to AWESOME halter top =] on: January 08, 2008 12:20:02 PM
So last year I went to the MonsTour '07 featuring Wednesday 13, The 69 Eyes, Night Kills The Day and Fair to Midland. I met my hero Wednesday 13 there:

I got this shirt, but they only had a size M. I got it anyway because I can't find any W13 merch at any retail stores:

With my crappy sewing skills, I created this Shocked!:

Please ignore my messy room in the background

I made a corset thingy on the side

I hope you guys enjoy it =]

Wednesday 13...as a plush?

I made this for my health project(You know the one where you have to take care of a baby).
This is my first doll so it looks kinda stupid and half-assed; it took me a day to make him.
I made Wednesday 13 because he's my hero and he's such an amazing man.

He has a lipring (made out of staple) but the lighting is off.

I'm planning to make another one when I go to his show in March and either throw it on stage or give it to him IF I meet him again.

Hope you like it!

PS: If you don't know who Wednesday 13 is, you should check him/his band out!

UPDATE:: I actually gave the doll to Wednesday 13 at a show =]

Nothing really special; I just got bored one day and started doodling lyrics from my favorite songs on.
