21  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / The GazettE [Ruki] Hoodie on: February 10, 2009 11:38:19 AM
Yeah, I'm a tad obsessed...with the lead singer of the Japanese band, the GazettE.
I spent a little more than a day doing this  Wink

I don't really like this...

Ruki (ルキ)

Reference photo:

The worst part was doing the studs on his jacket...I didn't even cut it out in the stencil; I had to paint/improvise the studs.

22  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Skelly Hands Jeans: Pegged & Ripped on: February 01, 2009 11:51:51 AM
I think I've had these jeans since...freshman year of high school. They still fit fine, I just wanted the bottom to be pegged since I don't wear anything jeans/pants unless they're skinnies  nowadays Embarrassed

Here's the original:

& Two and a half hours later...
Here it is NOW!

I stenciled the skeleton hands with fabric paint & sealed it.

Sorry for the crappy pictures, I was tired  Tongue

23  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Sweeney Todd Slip-ons on: January 14, 2009 09:35:10 AM
I brought a pair of plain black AirWalks (They are, in my opinion, so uncomfortable by the way) and decided to do some stenciling on it.

Never Forget. Never Forgive

I splattered some red paint and sealed it with Mod Podge.

24  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / The GazettE Stencil Shirt on: January 11, 2009 12:24:42 PM
The other day I was home all day Youtube-ing The Gazette (they're an awesome Japanese band) videos because I have no life when college is out. It got to the point where I had an urge to make a shirt of them. I was too lazy to go out and buy a black shirt so I just dug up an old shirt and turned it inside out.

Please excuse the bitch face... Tongue Undecided

It didn't turn out as good as I wanted it to be but...I still like it  Cool

25  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Painted Alice In Wonderland Stencil Totebag on: January 06, 2009 08:36:21 AM
For Christmas, I made my friend a Alice In Wonderland totebag because she's obsessed. I made the bag. I got pictures of Alice and the Cheshire Cat online and made stencils. I've been having too much time on my hands since college isn't starting for another three weeks =]

UPDATE: My friend LOVES it!
26  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Miyavi Stencil Totebag [Neo Visualizm] on: December 12, 2008 05:32:10 PM
So my Miyavi obsession continues... Wink

I made a totebag, same as the ones I always make. It took me about six hours to make the bag, make the stencils, cut the stencils (that was a pain in the ass; the top of my finger could bend backwards pretty far from me holding the X-Acto knife all day long) and paint.

Fortunately, my hard work paid off because the bag turned out awesome =]

27  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Stenciled Miyavi Shirt on: November 02, 2008 09:04:22 AM
I recently have became obsessed with Miyavi; for those who do not know him, he's an amazing Japanese musician.

Since there's no Miyavi merch in the US, I decided to make one of my own (like I always do Cheesy)

First I stenciled his face:

& his name -The Asian character: It has the same meaning in Japanese and Chinese (I had to ask my mom; I'm a Chinese school dropout):

ELEGANCE

I didn't like how it fitted on me so I cut out the neck band and the edge of the sleeves. I also sewed on ribbons so I could adjust the tightness at the back.

28  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Tom Kaulitz Stencil Shirt on: October 13, 2008 07:34:27 AM
I made this yesterday for my friend Helen who's in love with Tom Kaulitz almost as much as I am in love with his brother.

29  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Photoshop: If I Was Your Vampire on: October 11, 2008 07:46:55 AM

Sorry for the lack of creativity with the title, I took one of Marilyn Manson's songs.

This is the result of watching True Blood, and patiently waiting for Season 2 of Vampire Knight to come out; I was bored.

I used Photoshop 7.0 & Fake blood

This is the 'sequel' to my "She Was A Teenage Zombie" manipulation (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=235517.0)

30  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Skeletal StraightEdge Shirt on: October 04, 2008 09:52:19 AM
I finally got myself a copy of Generation T: 108 Ways to Transform a T-Shirt last month and I just got around to using it.
I love my StraightEdge shirt that I got from the Motive Company but it always fitted awkwardly on me and I never knew what to do with it.
