this book is full of weird facts. movies with librarians, etc

The whole library handbook 3 : current data, professional advice, and curiosa about libraries and library sciences / compiled by George M. Eberhart.

ok sad fact: i have this book....and i'm not even a librarian! there's just something sexy about decimals...
12  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Re: stupid Martha Stewart! on: July 05, 2005 07:35:07 PM

My favorite Martha moment is when they were interviewing her when she got out of prison.   She was like, "I missed lemons in prison." and the reporter goes "What else did you miss?"  and she said "Mainly lemons."... long pause... "and my dogs and my family."

ok i seriously started crying, that was soo funny! and so Martha! I think the reason we all love/hate her is because she is so cold and inhuman but does all these home-y things. It's like hugs from robots....but creepy.

15  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Duct tape dress forms (with tutorial) on: July 01, 2005 08:05:42 PM
a question about these dressforms... it  looks like most of these are made on smaller gals, i have an average frame but am pretty busty (34DD) has anyone made one for a larger gal with success? my main probem with making dresses/shirts is that they look fine but when i put them on me they get too tight or worse too low cut. my friends get lots of prezzies though!
16  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: red/green ballet flats on: July 01, 2005 05:50:05 PM
here in the states they sell no slip mats for rugs. they are thin like placemats so they're easy to cut and come in colors to match your shoes. it's fairly cheap (7-10$ for a large roll) so you could make a few pair. try a store like target or walmart or even your local hardwear store.

18  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: The Snake That Ate & Ate (warning: slightly morbid) on: June 25, 2005 04:26:41 PM
you should wrap him in a paking tube (like for posters) and dress it up as a firecracker, or a candle or another snake...you get the idea!
19  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Invader Zim Swap? on: June 15, 2005 10:58:15 PM
so we have interest....if no one objects i'll start the sign-ups. but a quick question... should this be a zim only swap or open it up to all johnen-y goodness(JTHM, squee, zim, i feel sick, bad art collection, fillerbunny, etc.)?
20  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Power Ranger beanie on: June 04, 2005 09:35:21 PM
That is such a cool hat!  My 8 year old is obsessed with Power Rangers.  I'll have to try to make him one, he loves the DinoThunder red ranger, same name.

Its really awesome that you made that for the kiddo.

oh man my 24 year old loves power rangers too...he's just commissioned the sculptor downstairs to make him a helmet....le sigh..i may have to make him one to tide him over (in green of course "tommys the awesomist") they never really grow up do they?
