65  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Re: Let's see your sewing machine!! on: May 02, 2008 10:43:11 AM
Yay! I love seeing other sewing machines!

My first one is a Singer Futura CE-150 that my dad bought for my every-birthday-and-christmas-for-the-rest-of-your-life present...

My second one is a White Speedylock 2500 serger that took me six months to save up for...

I also have another sewing machine but I don't have a picture of it because it's in storage but it's a Janome My excel 15s. I love that thing to death because my parents got it at a pawn shop for only $25 and it was my first machine and it worked so well!!!

Gorgeous.  What size needles?

Thanks! I used a 16" circular size 8.
67  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My Ravenclaw Scarf on: April 22, 2008 09:00:15 PM
Hello! I'm new to craftster and thought I would start out by posting a pic of my completed Ravenclaw scarf. I wasn't originally intending on making a Ravenclaw scarf but I got bored waiting for the yarn for my Gryffindor scarf to come from Patternworks so I was like, "What the hey, I'll make a Ravenclaw one while I wait!"

This is the first big project I've ever knit. Before this I had knit a couple of hats, maybe a couple of small misc. things and a mitten... that's right, one mitten... I really should finish the other one.....

That is seriously the coolest and most creative thing I have ever seen!

Um, I like your shoes... a lot. May I ask where you got them?
