Welcome Crafters and Vendors…..we would like to invite you to join us in Montello for our first annual FISH-N-FUN FEST.
Last year we hosted Moose Fest which brought in an estimated 5,000 people.
This year we are calling it FISH-N-FUN FEST which will be held opening weekend of fishing season, a very exciting time in Montello.  We anticipate that this year’s FISH-N-FUN FEST will draw even more interest as we are adding many more attractions.  This is a huge family event with lots of things for everyone to do.  Kids can go fishing with the Pros or go on carnival rides, while Moms shop for arts & crafts or home party goods.  The Fest starts Friday afternoon and runs until Sunday at 3:00.  Sunday is Mother’s Day so we are having free giveaways all over town for Mom’s. 
Please submit two photos of your handmade items or a website where they can be seen.  This allows us to make sure that no two booths have the same goods and that we can avoid putting two like sellers next to each other. We will limit party plan booths to one of a kind per show.  Booth space planning will begin April 1st so please send in your applications soon to reserve your place.  Again, we will sponsor a vendor appreciation dinner Saturday night.  Please download your vendor application for even more details and send it in as soon as possible.  We need your participation to help make our FISH-N-FUN FEST a success.  We are working hard to make this a fantastic event and we believe you will be pleased with the results.

The Great American Moose Fest is shaping up to be one of the largest events in south central Wisconsin. Nationally syndicated cartoonist Steve Krueger had a plan to help get Wisconsin small towns back on their feet. That plan was The Great American Moose Hunt, a kind of scavenger hunt designed to bring shoppers back into small-town Wisconsin.  From there , The Great American Moose Fest was born. In partnership with Children's Hospital on this first  weekend in May,  we hope to put Montello and Marquette County back on their feet. 10 Pro fisherman have signed on to come and take kids out on the lake and teach them to fish.  Both days will be packed full of activities for just about everybody to enjoy.  In addition to the professional fisherman, jugglers and nationally-known authors will be on  hand to entertain.  There will be a pancake eating contest, and free ice cream to boot!  There will be blocks and blocks of vendors, and every sort of crafter that you can imagine.  There will also be antique dealers and plenty of retailers to round out your shopping experience.  A large carnival will be set up for all to enjoy, and beer tents for the adults to make a pit stop.  And more is being added every day, so be sure to check the website often.
 
2010 booth fees:

15' X 15' food concessions $250
8' X 3' small vendor table space $75 (tear down at night)
Estimated attendance: 15,000 to 25,000 people
