So, I butchered a bunch of old collared shirts I never wear anymore and ended up with these:

My model wasn't really cooperating because he really didn't see the point in all of this!

32  Doggie picture book thing in Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects by DogGrrl on: May 15, 2005 10:27:53 PM
Here are some pics of a book I made for my client's dog's first birthday. It's pretty basic but I was proud of it as I don't often work with paper - I just had to yell, yay for me!  Cheesy

33  knitted dog collar in Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects by DogGrrl on: March 30, 2005 05:54:30 PM
I originally posted this in knitting, completed projects back in October but thought I would share it here.  This is Monkey's knitted Halloween collar and leash.  I used orange Fizz for the second color so it is all spooky looking!

34  Felt Wee Folk by Salley Mavor in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions by DogGrrl on: November 26, 2004 09:55:51 AM
I just picked this up at my niece's school's craft fair (she goes to the Waldorf School) and wow, is it cool!  It shows how to make little fairies and people using chenille stems, felt and wooden beads (for the heads).  Here is a picture of my first attempt - not that great but she only took 20 minutes to make!

35  Re: What do you store your knitting supplies in? in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by DogGrrl on: November 24, 2004 05:02:05 PM
I FINALLY got myself organized and moved all of my yarn into clear boxes that I sorted by color and labeled.  My straight and dpn knitting needles were twisty-tied with a cardboard label saying what size they were and went into another clear box and labeled straight needles, I haven't figured out what to do with my circs yet so they were just dumped into another clear box labeled - you guessed it -circs!   I also labeled a few more boxes of projects I have started and never got around to finishing (tons of those - lol!)  It has helped sooooo much to be able to find the right color in the right weight without going through a big huge jumble of yarns!

Here's a pic of when it was about 3/4 finished:

OMG - I would LOVE a board like this!  I am pretty fortunate that I have a room dedicated to my crafts but this is what it looks like - yikes!

40  knitted halloween dog leash in Knitting: Completed Projects by DogGrrl on: October 18, 2004 08:46:07 PM
Well, after MUCh trial and error I finally was able to make a knitted dog leash that is both strong and has no bounce!  I tested it today on my 80 lb Catahoula and a client's Mastiff and it held up like a champ!  Of couse the leash and collar were made for my other dog who is only 7-8 lbs but better safe than sorry!  I have never posted a pic (sorry - craftster newbie here!) so hopefully this will work!
