1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / several recently completed purses on: April 01, 2008 05:41:26 PM
Okay, this first one is from an amy butler pattern (I believe Madison) and I love the style but HATE putting the strap on.  A friend of mine asked for one and I liked the fabric (the friend likes it as well).

This one was for a swap for someone to tuck little things in and was my own design.

2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / capelet on: April 01, 2008 05:38:09 PM
This is a capelet I made for the OWS #32.  I found the pattern linked from someone's wist through craftster although I can't find it now (clicking on the wist site is freezing my internet explorer).  It only took me a week ish of evenings to complete and I got to try out a variety of stitches.

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Clutch on: January 03, 2008 05:33:09 PM
Just wanted to share a clutch I made.  I made it from a variety of patterns but primarily based upon one on u handbag.  The fabric is a tweed type fabric with a velvet floral design.
4  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / photographing a quilt on: January 03, 2008 04:57:50 PM
So, I was wondering if anyone had any hints about photographing a quilt?  I recently made a quilt from "Last Minute Patchwork Gifts/Projects" (not sure of the title right this minute and it isn't with me at home) and the quilt looks fabulous in person but the machine quilting and the applique patch are not identifiable in the pictures.  These two features really made the quilt and I am just trying to get a better picture (to scrapbook with).
